Mental & physical health

Good dental health is important for children and adults. If you take good care of your teeth and gums, you can prevent cavities, inflammation of gums, tooth loss, and bad breath.

Our dentists and other health professionals provide basic and emergency dental care to enrolled patients at eight City health centers.

Dental care is also available at many community health centers in Philadelphia.

How

Visit one of our eight City health centers that provide dental services. Urgent care (walk-in) patients are accepted, but appointments are encouraged.

Cost

City health centers accept Medicare, Medicaid, HMO plans, and most other insurance options. If you dont have insurance, the centers will charge a small fee based on family size and income. Health centers can also help you apply for affordable health insurance.
