Vital Statistics

In Oklahoma, the OSDH Office of Vital Records issues birth and death certificates, and the County Court Clerk where a marriage or divorce was filed issues and files the marriage and divorce records.

Oklahoma Birth & Death Data

• Birth data are available by year, county, gender, gestational age, birth weight and mother's demographics. Data may be displayed as statistics, cross tabular reports or standard tables.
• Death data are available by year, county, characteristics of decedent and cause of death. Data may be dispaleyd as statistics or standard tables.

Oklahoma Vital Records Annual Reports provide a summary of birth and deaths for the state of Oklahoma. Tables include statistics for the state and county and also provide national comparison information when available. Information is broken down by major demographic groups as well as major risk factors. Multiple statistics are provided such as crude and adjusted rates and years of potential life lost.
